Disturbance- Police responded to a call in the area of Lafayette and Ocean for a report of several males fighting. Officers arrived and located one male who was intoxicated who appeared to have been involved in an altercation. The subject stated other males that he did not know and himself were in a verbal argument walking south along Ocean Avenue. The altercation turned physical and multiple individuals began pushing and shoving each other. Descriptions of the others involved went out to patrols and the other parties were located a few blocks away. All the individuals involved did not want any medical attention. After speaking to everyone there was no way to ascertain what started this incident. All individuals involved were advised of compliant procedures if they wished to sign charges in this matter.
Overdose-Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to the area of 8th and Ocean for a report of a male who was overdosing on narcotics. Police arrived and began to assess the patient who was semi-conscious. EMS arrived and further assessed the patient and administered a dose of Narcan. The subject was treated at the scene and refused any further medical attention.
Keep the Peace- Police were dispatched to the area of Decatur and Ocean Avenue for a report of customers who would not vacate the premises of a business after the management requested they leave the property. Officers arrived and spoke to a caller who advised police of the policy violation and asked Officers to ensure they left the property. Police further explained the situation and stood by until the customers left the premises.
Odor Investigation- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the aera of 6th and Central Avenue for a reported odor of natural gas. Officers arrived and made sure everyone was out in the fresh air. The fire department arrived and checked the residence with their equipment and deemed the house to be safe. It was determined that the detectors in the house were also outdated and needed to be replaced.

Verbal Argument- Police were dispatched to the area of O St. and Ocean Avenue for a report of a male and female engaged in a verbal argument. Police arrived and spoke to the subjects involved. Officers were able to mediate the situation and help the couple with their issue and get them on their way.
Drug paraphernalia- Police responded to the area of J St. Beach for a report of a hypodermic needle on the beach. Officers responded and located the item and removed it from the beach to be properly disposed of. The area was checked, and no other paraphernalia or dangerous substances were located.
First Aid- Police and Tri- Boro First Aid Squad were dispatched to the area of Stockton and Ocean for a report patient who fell resulting in a head injury. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. The subject was transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.
Borough Ordinance Violation- While on patrol in the area of I St. and Central Officers observed two males walking and one of them tossed a beer bottle breaking the glass into the street. Police made contact with the male who threw the bottle and advised him of the infraction, and he was issued a borough summons for littering.

Fight- Police responded to the area of Farragut and Ocean Avenue for a group of individuals fighting. Officers arrived and located a male subject who was intoxicated and disoriented from his injuries. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report. One of the witnesses provided police with a video of the incident. No one at the scene was able to provide any leads to who the actor in the incident was. The victim who was punched in the face was transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Alarm- Police were dispatched to the area of Farragut and Ocean for a report of a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the perimeter and did not locate any signs of forced entry. The building was found to be secure, and it was determined that the alarm was set off in error.

Disturbance- While on patrol in the area of O St. and Ocean Avenue Officers observed two separate groups having a verbal dispute in parking lot number two. Police intervened and separated those involved. Officers were able to mediate the situation and both groups were advised of complaint procedures if they wished to file charges in this matter.
