MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicants Must Be 18  Years Or Older To Apply
  • Must Be A High School Graduate
  • Must Be A United States Citizen And NJ Resident
  • Must Be Able To Read, Write, And Speak The English Language
  • Must Possess A Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
  • Must Have A Good Reputation And Be Of Sound Moral Character

FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

The Borough of Seaside Park is a civil service community. Seaside Park has a residency requirement for the position of full-time police officer. This means you must be a resident of the Borough of Seaside Park prior to employment. Being a civil service municipality, Seaside Park operates under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC).
