Alarm- Police were dispatched to a burglar alarm activation in the area of 4th and Bayview. Officers arrived and checked the residence. No signs of forced entry were observed. There was a subject located at the residence. It was determined that the alarm was set off in error and the subject who was there was authorized to be on the premises.
Fraud- Police responded to the area of 3rd and Central to take a report of possible fraud for an email system getting hacked. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller and gathered all the information needed to generate a report. They were advised to contact their IT department and make any necessary password changes and to advise police if there is any new information.

Missing Person- Police were assisting another local agency in locating a missing person who could have been in our jurisdiction. Officers checked the area and were able to locate the subject at J St. and Ocean Avenues. The reporting agency was advised, and that subject was turned over to them.

Well Being Check- While on patrol in the area of M St. and Central Avenue Officers observed a male subject stumbling as they walked. Police stopped to talk to the subject and make sure everything was ok. Officers spoke to the subject who appeared to be fine and did not need any first aid. He was offered a ride home, but he declined any assistance.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad were dispatched to a call for a subject experiencing chest pain. Police and EMS arrived and began to assess the patient at the scene. The subject was transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Suspicious Person- Police were dispatched to the area of 5th and Bayview for a possible trespasser. The caller stated they saw someone on their camera system that did not belong on their property. Officers arrived and checked the area. The subject was located, and after further investigation it was determined that he was at the wrong residence and it was just a mistake. No further police action required.

Animal- There have been multiple calls regarding fox sightings where the animal appears sick. We are keeping an eye on them when we observe them during our patrol. Unless they are injured or acting aggressively animal control will not come out since they appear to be acting normally.
