First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to a patient experiencing respiratory distress. Police and EMS arrived and began to assess the patient at the scene. The patient was transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Alarm- Police were dispatched to the area of 2nd and Bayview for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and began checking the perimeter of the building. No signs of forced entry were observed. Everything was found to be secure and it was determined that the alarm was set off in error.

 

 

Landlord Tenant Dispute- Police responded to the area of Farragut and the Boulevard for a landlord tenant dispute. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller who had stated that his landlord was trying to evict him without going through the proper procedure. Police spoke to all parties and were able to mediate the situation. Both parties were advised how to proceed with complaints if they wished to do so.

 

 

 

Disturbance- Police were dispatched to the aera of Porter Avenue and the Boulevard for a report of a loud verbal argument. Officers arrived and located two females actively arguing in a residence. Police were able to make contact with the subjects and involved and investigated the situation. Officers were able to mediate the situation and stood by while the visitor gathered her belongings and left for the remainder of the night. No further police action required.

Scuba Team- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company Scuba Team responded to the area of 14th and Bay for a possible kite boarder who appeared to be in distress and Officers could not communicate with them from land. The fire company arrived and launched their wave runner and made their way to the subject to see if they needed any help. The fire company made contact with the subject, and they were fine and did not need any assistance.

 

Suspicious Vehicle- While on patrol in the area of 10th and Bayview police observed a vehicle idling for an extended period of time with two occupants inside. Officers made contact with the subjects inside and checked on them to make sure everything was ok. The subjects were fine and were just parked and having a conversation. Police advised the subjects of the loitering ordinance and they complied and left the aera.

Borough Ordinance Violation- Police responded to the area of L St. and Berkeley Ln. to investigate a report of bright lights that were affixed to one house shining into other residences. Police responded and checked the area and gathered the information needed to generate a report. The lights were on but had turned off a few moments later and did not go on the remainder of the night. Subjects involved were advised of complaint procedures.

 

 

Community Policing- A loose dog was turned into the police department by a good Samaritan. Police. Officers checked the area to see if they could find anyone out searching for their pet. The owner of the dog was located, and the animal was reunited with its owner.
