Disturbance- Police were dispatched to a verbal argument between household members in the area of K St. and Central. Officers arrived and located the individuals involved in the incident and separated the parties to investigate what occurred. After speaking with those involved Officers were able to mediate the situation and the incident was resolved at the scene.

Alarm- Police responded to the area of H St. and Ocean for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the perimeter of the residence. The exterior was secure, and no signs of forced entry were observed. It was determined the alarm was set off in error.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid responded to a first aid call where the victim was experiencing difficulty breathing. Police and EMS arrived and assessed and treated the subject at the scene. The patient was transported by Tri-Boro to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Carbon Monoxide Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of N St. for a carbon monoxide alarm activation. Officers arrived and ensured any residents were out in the fresh air. The fire company and New Jersey Natural Gas responded to check the house with their CO sensors. The house was checked and was deemed safe and it was determined that the cause of the alarm was from an expired CO detector.

Agency Assist- Police were dispatched to the area of 4th and Bayview to look for a wanted male who was residing in our jurisdiction who was wanted for a crime that was allegedly committed in another jurisdiction in Ocean County. Officers arrived and were able to make contact with the wanted male. He was placed under arrest and later turned over to the agency that the warrant was issued by.

Open Door- Police responded to the area of H St. and Ocean for a report of an open door to a residence. Officers arrived and checked the exterior of the residence and did locate an open door to the structure. No signs of forced entry were observed and did not appear that anything was disturbed. The door was secured, and Officers attempted to notify the owner of their findings.

Verbal Dispute- Police were dispatched to the area of N St. for a verbal dispute between a male and female. Officers arrived spoke to the parties involved and investigated the allegations. It was determined to just be a verbal altercation and the male subject decided to leave the residence for the night. No further police action required.

Disturbance- Police responded to the Desert Palm Inn at O St. and Ocean Avenue for a report of a disturbance between the manager and an incoming guest. The caller states as a male and female were checking in and a  verbal argument ensued between the male and the manager. The subject came behind the counter and physically intimidated the manager and ripped the phone out of the manager’s hand breaking it as he attempted to call the police. He also took an item off the counter as he left and verbally threatened to kill the manager. The subject fled the area prior Video footage was reviewed by Officers on scene. The subject’s information was obtained, and he was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, theft, and terroristic threats.
