First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid were dispatched to a patient who was having difficulty breathing. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene and administered oxygen. The patient was later transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

 

 

Borough Ordinance- While on patrol in the area of North Avenue and Central Officers observed a male loitering in his vehicle for an extended period of time. Police made contact with the subject and spoke to the individual who stated they were making some deliveries in the aera and were just resting briefly. Officers advised the subject of the ordinance, and he left without incident.

Disturbance- Police were dispatched to the area of O St. and Ocean Ave. for a report of a loud verbal argument between a male and female. Officers arrived and located the subjects involved. Officers separated both parties and spoke to them about what was going on. After further investigation it was determined it was only a verbal altercation and police were able to mediate the situation. No further police action required.

Well Being Check- Police were dispatched to the area of H St. and Bayview for a report of a possible missing wind surfer who had gone out and not returned to their vehicle for several hours. Officers located his vehicle and began checking the area. Police were able to locate the subject who was safe and not in any distress. No further police action required.

Disturbance- Police responded to the aera of Stockton and Central for a report of a female who was acting aggressively and yelling at a friend causing a disturbance in the residence. Officers arrived and located the females involved and separated them to determine what was going on. The aggressor was upset and acting in a disorderly manner over the argument they were involved in. After further investigation it was learned that she had an active arrest warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. She was placed under arrest and turned over to the Sheriff’s Department for processing.

Open Door- Police were dispatched to the area of Decatur and Ocean for a report of an open screen door on a residence that the caller wanted Officers to check out. Police responded and checked the exterior of the residence and did locate and open screen door. There were no signs of forced entry, and no entry was made into the residence as the main door was secure. All entries and windows were found to be secure, and it was determined that the screen door was blown open by the wind.

 

 

Verbal Dispute- Police were dispatched to the area of J St. and Central for an active verbal dispute between subjects in the parking lot. Officers arrived and located the subjects and separated the individuals who were arguing over returning personal belongings. Police were able to mediate the subjects and they were advised to leave the area and go their separate ways.

 

 

Utility Problem- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of Stockton and Ocean for a possible pole fire and power outage. Officers arrived and did not see any active fire, but it did appear transformers had blown as there was a visible power outage. The area was checked, and no fire or arcing wires were observed. JCP&L were advised of the issue to be repaired.
