Alarm- Police were dispatched to a burglar alarm activation in the area of K St. and K Court. Officers arrived and checked the perimeter of the residence and did not observe any signs of forced entry. All doors and windows were found to be secure, and it was determined the alarm was set off in error.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to help a patient who was possibly having a seizure. Officers and EMS arrived and began to assess the patient at the scene. They were later transported to Community Medical Center for treatment.

 

 

11/5 Fraud- There were two separate instances of counterfeit money being withdrawn at an ATM located at M St. and Central Avenue. The counterfeit bills were seized and documented, and the United States Secret Service was notified. The third-party owner of the ATM was notified about the incident. A report was generated for this incident and both victims were advised to report this to their bank so they could be reimbursed.

 

 

Fire Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to a fire alarm activation in the area of Stockton and Boulevard. Officers and the fire department arrived and checked the residence. No active fire or smoke was present. The fire department checked the residence with their heat sensing equipment and deemed the residence safe and determined that the alarm was set off in error.

 

 

 

 

Arcing Wires- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of Farragut and Ocean Avenue for a report of arcing wires on one of the telephone poles. Officers arrived and located the issue, and the fire department arrived to standby in case something caught fire. JCPL was notified, there was no immediate danger at this time and the power company responded to assess the issue.

Open Door- Police responded to call for an open door in the area of L St. and Ocean Avenue. Officers arrived and checked the area no signs of forced entry were observed. The room was checked, and no one was inside. Police secured the door. No further police action required.

 

 

Harassment- Police took a report at headquarters regarding harassment. Officers spoke to the caller who stated he received messages from a former girlfriend and wanted to report it. Officers gathered all the information needed to generate a report. The caller was advised to forward us any further messages they receive for documentation. The male was advised of complaint procedures.

Traffic Violation- A driver was stopped in the area of 11th and Central for an equipment violation. After further investigation it was learned that the driver was suspended and unlicensed. The driver was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses for the violations. The vehicle was parked, and the driver was given an escort home by police.
