Landlord Tenant Dispute- Police were dispatched to the area of N St. and Lake Ave. for a caller who was reporting harassing messages from their landlord. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller who stated they were renting their residence for approximately six more months but had been receiving text messages from their landlord who was allegedly threatening the tenant to have the locks changed and to have him evicted. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report and advised him of his rights as a tenant. No further police action required.
Landlord Tenant Dispute- Police responded back to the area of N St. and Lake Avenue for the same caller who stated his water and cable had been turned off at his residence that he was renting. While Officers were on scene a male and the female landlord arrived and aggressively confronted the tenant. Police intervened and mediated the situation. Officers advised the landlord that the water needed to be restored immediately, and if she wanted to have the tenant evicted, she would need to do so in landlord tenant court through the proper procedures.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to a patient experiencing respiratory distress. Officers and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. They were later transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.
Community Policing- A member of the public turned in a credit card that was found on the boardwalk. Police were able to locate a local address associated with the name and was able to identity the rightful owner and return it to them.

Alarm- Police were dispatched to the area of 12th and Bayview Ave. for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and began to check the perimeter of the residence and did not locate any signs of forced entry. All doors and windows were found to be secure, and it was determined that the alarm was set off in error.

Accident- Police responded to the area of Farragut and N. Bayview for a single car motor vehicle accident. Officers arrived and located the vehicle and driver who seemed to be alright. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck some road signs before coming to a stop. The driver was checked out by Tri-Boro First Aid Squad as a precaution. No one was injured and the only property damage was to road signs. All the information was gathered to generate a report and the driver was given a ride to where she was staying.
Open Door- While on patrol in the area of 2nd and Central Ave. Officers observed a vehicle with one of its doors open. Officers checked the vehicle and did not see any signs of forced entry, and nothing appeared to be disturbed. The vehicle was secured. Police were able to locate the owner and they had just left the door open accidentally.

Animal- Police were dispatched to the area of M St. and Central for a found dog in front of the 711 convenience store. Police were able to get the dog into a patrol car while an attempt to locate the owner was made. The owner was located, and the dog and owner were reunited.
