Suspicious Person- Police were dispatched to the area of Farragut and Central Avenue for a report of a suspicious male walking around with a flashlight. Officers arrived and located the subject matching the description provided. After speaking with the subject, it was determined that he was lost and looking for his rental property. Officers were able to assist him in locating where he was supposed to be.

Officer Request- Police were flagged down by a male in the area of Porter and Ocean Avenue who stated his vehicle was stolen. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report. Officers at the scene know through their experience that typically the motor vehicle is just misplaced. Officers searched the area and located the subject’s vehicle a few blocks north and reunited him with his car. No further police action required.
First Aid- Police and Tri- Boro First Aid Squad responded to assist a patient who was having difficulty breathing. Police and EMS arrived and began to assess the patient at the scene. The victim was later transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.
Missing Persons- Police were flagged down in the area of Stockton and the Boardwalk by a parent who was looking for two juvenile females who left the area and had not returned when they were supposed to. Police gathered information and descriptions of the children and began to check the area. Officers were able to locate them several blocks north and reunited them with their parents.
Suspicious Vehicle- While on patrol Officers observed a vehicle with occupants inside sleeping in violation of the borough ordinance. Officers made contact with the subjects inside and advised them of the ordinance. Police made sure everyone inside was ok and the subjects left the area without incident.

Animal- Police were called to the area of the Farragut Avenue beach for a report of an injured bird. Officers arrived and located the bird and were able to secure it. Animal control was called, and they came to take custody of the bird to try to get it rehabilitated.

Fire Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of O St. and Ocean Avenue for a fire alarm activation. Police arrived and checked the area, and no smoke or active fire were observed. The fire department arrived and were able to make entry and check the interior. It was determined that the smoke detector was outdated which caused a false alarm.

Erratic Driver- While on patrol in the aera of Bayview and G St. Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and passing where passing another vehicle was prohibited. Officers initiated a motor vehicle stop and advised the driver of the infractions. The driver was issued a motor vehicle summons for the violation.
Community Policing- While on Patrol in the area of Decatur and Ocean Avenue Officers were flagged down by a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle. Officers were able to use our lockout kit to help them gain entry back into their vehicle.
