Open Door- While on patrol in the area of O St. and Ocean Avenue Officers observed a residence with an open door. Officers checked the perimeter and did not observe any signs of forced entry. It was determined the wind had blown the door open. Police secured the door and notified the owner of their findings.

Verbal Dispute- Police responded to the area of K St. and Ocean for a verbal dispute between household members. Officers arrived and spoke to both parties involved to investigate what was going occurring. After speaking to both individuals police were able to mediate the situation and both subjects were advised how to proceed with charges if they wished to proceed.
Missing Person- Police were dispatched to the area of K St. and K Ct. to investigate a possible missing person. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller and gathered all the information needed to generate a report. Police sent out a description of the subject and began checking the area. After some searching police were able to locate the subject who was intoxicated, but were otherwise fine. The subject was given a safe ride home. No further police action required.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to the area of Stockton and Ocean for a subject who had fallen and suffered a laceration on their face. Officers arrived and began to assess and treat the victim. EMS arrived and transported the victim to Community Medical Center.
Suspicious Persons- A caller wanted to advise police about two male subjects they saw on their surveillance cameras who walked onto their property and walked in the backyard without permission. The subject saw the footage after the incident and wanted to show police and provided us with the recording. The residence located in the area of 1st and Ocean was checked by police but did not locate and subjects around matching the description. The caller just wanted to advise police of this incident and Officers kept an extra watch in the area.

Arrest- Police were called to the area of Lake Ave. and O St. for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and located the two female subjects involved and spoke to them about what had occurred. After further investigation it was determined that an assault had taken place and one of the females were placed under arrest for assaulting the victim who had sustained minor injuries. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and charged with simple assault and released.

Scam- A caller contacted the police department in regards to a phone call they received from a person stating they were from PSE&G and tried to tell them they were going to come to their residence to perform work and no work was scheduled and it appeared to be a scam call. The caller wanted to advise police of this situation. Officers gathered information needed to generate a report and the subject was advised not to release any information and if anyone came to their residence impersonating any utility personnel to call the PD and we would investigate the situation.
