First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad were dispatched to help and individual on the L St. Beach who was experiencing general weakness. Officers and EMS arrived and administered oxygen to the patient. They were later transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.
Community Policing- While on patrol in the area of Farragut and the Boulevard Officers observed a vehicle with a door that was open. Police checked the vehicle and did not observe any signs of forced entry. Nothing appeared to be disturbed in the vehicle. Attempts were made to locate the owner, but we could not make contact. It was determined that the door was left open in error and Officers were able to secure the vehicle.

Officer Request- Police were dispatched to the area of K St. and Ocean Ave. for a caller who believed their vehicle was stolen. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller and gathered all the information needed to generate a report. Police checked the area, and the vehicle was no longer here. Police were able to check some of the surveillance footage from nearby cameras. After further investigation it was determined that the vehicle was repossessed. The vehicle owner was advised of our findings.
Suspicious Package- Police responded to the area of N St. Beach for a caller who was concerned about an unattended black bag. Officers arrived and located the bag and inspected it. After investigating the bag, it was determined not to be a threat but just a bag of personal belongings that was left behind. No further police action required.

Verbal Dispute- Police were dispatched to the area of 12th and Central for a verbal dispute between neighbors. Officers arrived and spoke to the parties involved and heard both sides of the story. Police at the scene were able to mediate the situation and both parties were advised of complaint procedures if they wished to pursue charges.

Arrest- While on a motor vehicle stop for traffic violations it was learned that the driver had an active warrant out for his arrest from another jurisdiction. The male was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. The defendant was processed and released as per the issuing agency.
Arrest- Police were dispatched to a call where a male was threatening another male with a knife in the area of municipal lot two. Officers arrived at the scene and located the subject and spoke to the others involved. It was determined the subject was in possession of a knife and brandished it in a threatening manner at a family member and other people nearby. The male was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters where he was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, harassment, and terroristic threats. He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
Arrest- While on patrol in the area of 2nd and Central Avenues Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. Officers observed the odor of an alcoholic beverage while speaking to the driver. After further investigation it was determined that the driver was operating under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters.
Fire- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the area of North Avenue Beach for a trash can fire. Officers arrived and observed the trash can engulfed in flames. The fire department arrived and put the fire out. It was determined that the fire started from smoldering fireworks placed in the trash receptacle.
Borough Ordinance- While on Patrol in the area of Municipal Lot Three Officers observed a vehicle with a subject asleep inside. Police made contact with the driver and advised him of the infraction. The subject was issued a borough summons for the violation.
Arrest- While on a motor vehicle stop in the area of Porter and Central Officers observed an odor of an alcoholic beverage while speaking with the driver. After further investigation it was determined that the driver was operating under the influence of alcohol. The male was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters. During the investigation a quantity of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine was found in his possession. The male was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as other traffic violations. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Arrest- While on patrol in the area of the causeway outbound Officers observed a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road. A traffic stop was initiated and after speaking with the female driver police observed the odor of an alcoholic beverage. After further investigation it was determined that she was operating under the influence of alcohol. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as other traffic violations.
