Arrest- While conducting a motor vehicle stop for a moving violation it was determined that the driver had an active arrest warrant out of another jurisdiction. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was later transported to Ocean County Jail.

 

 

Borough Ordinance Violation- While on patrol in the area of O St. and the Boulevard, Officers observed a male urinating in public. Officers made contact with the individual and advised him of the violation and he was issued a borough summons for the infraction.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad were dispatched to assist a victim who was experiencing dizziness. Police and first aid assessed the victim at the scene, and they were transported to Community Medical Center for treatment.

Arrest- Police were dispatched to the area of 5th and Central Avenue for a caller who ran out of their house as a male attempted to break into their kitchen window and enter the residence. Officers arrived and checked the residence and observed the broken window as well as a blood from the suspect who injured himself during the burglary. The subject was located across the street and placed under arrest. First Aid was summoned to tend to his injuries. The male was observed to be intoxicated. The subject was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and obstructing a law enforcement officer in the performance of their duties.

 

 

 

Fire Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of Decatur and Ocean for a fire alarm activation. Officers arrived and heard the audible alarm, but no smoke or active fire was visible. The fire department checked the residence with their heat sensing equipment and deemed it to be safe, and determined the alarm went off in error.

 

 

Arrest- Police were dispatched to the F St. beach for a domestic violence incident. Officers responded and located the male and female involved. During an argument the female had scratched the males face causing lacerations. She was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where she was charged with assault and released.

Arrest- Police were dispatched to the area of N St. and Ocean Avenue for a possible intoxicated driver. After further investigation it was determined that the male operator of the vehicle was driving under the influence. He was placed under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated as well as several other motor vehicle violations.

Alarm- Police responded to the aera of Stockton and Ocean for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and began checking the exterior and did not observe any signs of forced entry. After further investigation they located an individual on the premises who was authorized to be there and stated the alarm was set off in error.

Stabbing- Police responded to the area of O St. and the Boulevard for a called who stated someone had broken into his residence and tried to kill him. The victim was found with multiple stab wounds to his body and was air lifted to Jersey shore Medical Center for treatment. The culpable party was located in Seaside Heights and was placed under arrest and lodged in Ocean County Jail. He is charged with attempted murder, burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of narcotics without a prescription.

Criminal Mischief- Police were called to take a report of property damage. The complainant stated their house was rented through an online booking site and the person who booked the residence was not staying there and they permitted unauthorized guests to use the residence to have a party causing significant damage to the home’s walls, railings, ceilings, doors as well as other damage and cleaning. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report and the owner was advised how to proceed with charges if they wished to do so.
