Alarm- Police responded to a burglar alarm activation in the area of 2nd and Central Avenue. Upon arrival audible alarm was sounding, but no forced entry was observed. After further investigation it was determined that the alarm was set off in error by a person authorized to be on the premises.

Neighbor dispute- Police were dispatched to a neighbor dispute in the aera of Porter and Central Avenue. Officers arrived and spoke to the complainant who stated their neighbor above constantly causes disturbances which disrupts the household. Officers spoke to all parties involved. Individuals involved were advised of complaint procedures if they wished to proceed.

Suspicious Persons- Police responded to the area of K St. and the Boulevard for a report of three subjects possibly looking in windows of a residence. Officers arrived and located two males and one female matching what the caller stated. Police made contact with the subjects and spoke to them about what was going on. Police were familiar with all three people, and one was a resident of the home and was authorized to be there. One male was known to be trespassed from that residence and was advised to leave the property by police. Police gathered information needed to generate a report. No further police action required.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to a patient who was not feeling well. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. They were later transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

 

Harassment- Police responded to headquarters to take a report of a possible harassment situation between a male and a former girlfriend. The caller stated he felt he was being harassed by his former girlfriend and alleged that they may have been trying to get him in trouble by falsifying documents against him. Police spoke to the subject and gathered all the information needed to generate a report. The subject was advised how to sign complaints if he wished to proceed.

Suspicious Vehicle- Police responded to the area of 12th and Ocean Avenue for a report of a suspicious blue sedan parked in the area on multiple occasions and wanted police to investigate. Officers arrived and located the vehicle that was parked legally and was registered. The area was checked, and Officers were able to locate the owner of the automobile who was just out walking for recreation.

Fraud- Police were dispatched to the area of North Ave and Ocean Ave. for a report of possible fraud to their email account. Police responded and spoke to the caller and gathered information needed to generate a report. The caller stated they believed they may have been hacked and observed some suspicious activity with their email account. Police documented the information, and the caller was advised to change their passwords and advise Police if there is any further issues moving forward.
