Disabled Vehicle- Police responded to the area of 12th and Bayview Ave for a vehicle that became disabled after driving through the high flood waters along the bay front. The owner wanted to advise police since it was stuck in the roadway. Officers arrived and checked out the scene. The flood water barriers were already in place and the owner of the vehicle arranged for it to be removed. No further action required.

 

 

Keep the Peace- Police responded to the area of 7th and Central to keep the peace between a male and female while personal belongings were retrieved from the residence. Officers arrived and spoke to the parties involved and the female wanted to get some of her belongings and wanted to have police stand by in case a verbal altercation arose. Officers stood by and mediated the situation. No further police action required.

 

 

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to assist a subject who had fallen at home. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. They were transported to Community Medical Center for further medical treatment.

Alarm- Police were dispatched to the area of C St. and Central for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the exterior and did not observe and signs of forced entry. The building was found to be secure by police. Officers spoke to the owner, and it was determined that the alarm was set off in error.

 

 

 

 

Theft- Police responded to the area of Stockton and the Boulevard for a report of a stolen mountain bike. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller who gave them the information needed to generate a report. The bike was secured to a bicycle rack and had been removed by the culpable individual. Police checked the surrounding area for any cameras that may have captured the incident and were unable to locate any.

Fire Call- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of F St. and Central Avenue for a report of a possible house fire as the caller stated the observed smoke coming from a residence. Police and fire arrived and began to check the residence as the caller stated they saw smoke coming from the siding on the house. The homeowner had a fire going in their fireplace and the fire department checked it and deemed it was safe.

Well Being Check- Police were dispatched to the area of M St and Central for an intoxicated subject. Police arrived and located the female who was found to be intoxicated. After speaking to her she advised Officers she was left behind by a friend she was in town with. Police stood by with her until she got a safe ride home.

Open Door- While on patrol in the area of 8th and Central Police observed an open door to a residence. Officers checked the structure and did not observe any signs of forced entry. Police were able to make contact with the owner and it was determined the door was left open in error and they were on site to secure it.
