Alarm- Police responded to a burglar alarm activation in the area of 2nd and Central. The perimeter was checked, and no signs of forced entry were observed. All doors and windows were found to be secure it was determined that the alarm was set off in error.

 

 

Suspended Driver- While conducting a motor vehicle stop in the area of I St. and Central for a motor vehicle violation it was determined that the driver’s license was suspended. The subject was issued motor vehicle summonses for the infractions and a driver with a valid license drove the vehicle from the scene.

Suspended Registration- While on patrol in the area of M St. and Central Avenue the license plate reader got a hit on a vehicle for having a suspended registration. The Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and it was determined that the vehicle did not have valid registration or insurance. The driver was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and the vehicle was removed from the roadway until it acquires valid credentials.

Community Policing- Police were dispatched to the area of N and Ocean for a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle. Officers arrived and assessed the situation. Police were able to make entry into the vehicle utilizing our lock out kit and get the folks back into their vehicle.

 

 

 

 

Fire- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the area of O St. and Central for a fire alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the residence with the audible smoke detector sounding. There was no visible smoke or fire observed upon arrival. The fire department checked the exterior and interior of the residence utilizing their thermal camera and it was determined that the house was safe.

 

 

Criminal Mischief- Police responded to the area of Porter and Central Avenue for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. Officers arrived and spoke to the owner who advised Officers that his vehicle had four flat tires. After further investigation and viewing some nearby camera footage the vehicle’s tires were punctured by a male subject. Officers are still canvassing the area for more camera footage to gather more evidence in this case. This matter is still under investigation.

Borough Ordinance Violation- While on patrol in the area of O St. and the bay Officers observed a vehicle parked with two subjects loitering for an extended period of time. Officers approached and made contact with the subjects and advised them of the borough ordinance. The subjects were both issued a borough summons for the violation.

 

 

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid were dispatched to a patient experiencing difficulty breathing. Officers arrived and administered oxygen. EMS arrived and assessed the patient, and they were later transported by Tri-Boro to Community Medical Center for further treatment.
