Officer Request- Police were dispatched to the area of Farragut and Ocean Avenue for an officer request. The caller requested police to remove some contractors from his property and advise them not to return to the job because they were not following through with the work that was agreed upon. Officers arrived and spoke to all those involved. The workers were advised not to return to the jobsite. The workers left without incident and the caller was already in the process of signing complaints. No further police action required.

Arrest- At Police Headquarters a female was placed under arrest after an ongoing investigation following a landlord tenant issue. The initial complaint was for nonpayment of rent from the tenant. The investigation yielded enough evidence to charge the defendant with bad checks and theft of services. She was processed, charged, and released with a court date.  

 

 

 

Animal- Police were called to the area of Municipal Lot 2 for a dog in distress in a motor vehicle. Officers arrived and located the dog in the vehicle which did not appear to be in distress. The windows were cracked open, and the dog did not need help. The owner was located, and he opened the windows more. No police action required.

Borough Ordinance- While on patrol in the area of 13th and Barnegat Avenue Officers observed a vehicle idling with its lights on parked against the flow of traffic. Upon further investigation police observed a male and female in the vehicle engaged on consensual relations. The subjects were advised of the violation and were asked to get dressed. Both were issued a borough summons for the infraction.  

 

 

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to helps a victim who was experiencing nausea. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. They were transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.  

 

 

Threats- Police responded to the area of 13th and Ocean Avenue for a report of threats. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller who stated a couple he was helping with a personal problem had turned on him and had begun to threaten him during an online livestream. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report. The subject was advised on how to sign complaints if he wished to do so.
