Stolen Vehicles- Police responded to two residences one on South Bayview, and another on South Ocean Avenue. Both callers reported their vehicle was stolen. One vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob inside. The other vehicle was stolen after one of the thieves entered the unlocked car and used the garage door opener to enter the garage and gain entry to the house and took the vehicle’s keys from inside the residence. Four male subjects were seen on security camera footage wearing long pants, long sleeve shirts and face coverings. This matter is under investigation.
First Aid- Police and EMS were dispatched to a patient who was experiencing shortness of breath. Police and First Aid arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. They were transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Fire Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to a fire alarm activation in the area of I St. and Ocean. Police and fire arrived at the scene and checked the residence and did not observe any smoke or active fire. The fire company used their heat sensing equipment to ensure the residence was safe. The fire company located two faulty detectors that had been causing the alarm to sound.

Well Being Check- Police responded to the area of Stockton and the Beach for a female laying on the beach who appeared to be in distress. Police arrived and made contact with the subject. She stated her phone was missing and could not locate her vehicle. Officers assisted her and gave her a ride and located her vehicle.
Disturbance- While on patrol in the area of Stockton and the Boardwalk Officers observed a group of people shouting at each other and causing a disturbance. It was determined that a group had been removed by staff from one of the businesses and did not like being asked to leave and a verbal argument ensued. Police intervened and mediated the incident and separated the individuals involved.

Open Door- While on patrol in the area of Porter and the Boulevard Officers observed an open door to a business that had been vacant for a period of time. Police checked the area and made contact with individuals at the scene who had authorization to be at the property. No further police action required.

Assault- Police responded to the area of Farragut and Ocean Avenue for a male subject who stated there was a blue sedan driving around and shooting at people with a BB gun. The subject was less than cooperative with Officers and would not provide much information and became combative with police. This matter is still under investigation.

Criminal Mischief- Police were dispatched to the area of 8th and Central to take a report of damage to a motor vehicle. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller who showed police a broken window, a cracked windshield, and a dent on their vehicle. Nothing was taken from inside of the vehicle. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report.
