Disturbance- Police were dispatched to the area of Porter and the Boulevard for a male causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and located an intoxicated male laying on the ground. The callers stated that the male came up on their porch without permission and began shouting incoherently and waving his arms around. Tri-Boro First Aid Squad came out to check the individual out to ensure he was ok. The male refused any further medical attention. He was issued borough summonses for public nuisance and public intoxication and was escorted off the property by police.

Verbal Dispute- Police responded to the area of Stockton and Central Avenue for a verbal dispute between two females. Officers arrived and located the individuals involved. After speaking with them police were able to mediate the situation separate them. One of the individuals requested to go to the hospital to be checked out and was transported to Community Medical Center.
Carbon Monoxide Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the area of F St. and Ocean for a carbon monoxide alarm activation. Police arrived and ensured everyone was out in the fresh air. The fire department then checked the residence with their carbon monoxide sensing equipment. They found the residence to be safe and that the alarm was set off in error.

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad were dispatched to the area of J St. and Boulevard for a male who had fallen off his motorized scooter and struck his head which resulted in lacerations and significant bleeding. The male was stabilized by EMS then transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for further treatment.
Borough Ordinance Violation- While on patrol Officers observed a male in the area Porter and the boardwalk who was urinating in public. Police made contact with the subject and advised him of the violation. He was issued a borough summons for the infraction.
Missing Person- Police were asked to assist another agency to help locate a missing teenager who had used a ride sharing app to get to Seaside Park and was walking around in our jurisdiction. Officers searched the area and were able to locate him safely on the Stockton Avenue beach. Officers transported him to police headquarters where he was released to a parent.

Criminal Mischief- Police were dispatched to the area of 8th and Central Avenue for a report of a vehicle that had its back window broken. Officers arrived and located the vehicle and spoke to the caller. Police gathered the information needed to generate a report and checked the area for any cameras that may have captured the incident. This matter is still under investigation.

Open Door- Police were dispatched to investigate an open 2nd floor balcony door on a residence called in by a passerby. Officers arrived and checked the perimeter of the residence and located no signs of forced entry and all doors and windows on the first floor were secure. Police reached out and advised the homeowner of our findings.
Hit and Run- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to take a report of female pedal cyclist who was struck by a motor vehicle at I St. and Central Avenue. The victim stated her, and a friend were crossing the street and the vehicle that was stopped at the stop sign suddenly moved forward as they were crossing and ran over the victim’s foot. The driver stopped momentarily to ask if they were ok then drove off heading east. The description was a black pick-up truck with a white cooler on the front driven by a white male with a black and white dog in the passenger seat. The area was checked by police, but the actor was no longer in the area. The victim went to the hospital to get her injury checked out. The area was checked for any cameras that may have captured the incident. This matter is still under investigation.
Disturbance- Police responded to the area of Farragut and the Boulevard for a disturbance between household members. Officers arrived and located multiple people involved in a verbal argument outside the residence. Police separated the individuals involved and worked to mediate the situation. Police stood by while both parties retrieved belongings out of the residence and were advised to give each other space. Parties advised of complaint procedures. No further police action required.
