Carbon Monoxide Alarm- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of Stockton and Central for a carbon monoxide alarm activation. The occupants of the residence were brought outside to fresh air. The fire company checked the interior of the residence with their carbon monoxide meter and deemed the residence to be safe.

 

 

Missing Person- Police were dispatched to the area of J St. Beach for a report of a juvenile who was separated from their family. Police responded and gathered information from the victim. Officers were able to locate the juvenile’s family several blocks north and reunited them with their family.

Assault- While on patrol in the area of Farragut and Ocean Ave. Officers were flagged down by a male who had been assaulted and robbed of his cash. The subject stated that the individuals he was with who he had just met took his money and assaulted him and fled north on foot. The area was checked but no subjects were located. The victim was checked out by Tri-Boro First Aid squad at the scene and refused any further treatment. The victim did not know any details about the subjects he alleged assaulted him.

 

 

Arrest- Police were dispatched to O St. and the boardwalk to check on a male who appeared to be intoxicated. Officers arrived and located the male who was standing in his underwear with his pants draped over his shoulders and was observed to be intoxicated. Officers at the scene attempted to assist and offer the male help, but he immediately became aggressive and was shouting obscenities causing a disturbance. The male was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Noise Complaint- Police were dispatched to the area of Porter and Central Avenues for a report of loud music. Police arrived and located loud music coming from a residence. The subject was advised of the ordinance and issued a borough summons for the violation.

 

 

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to a call for a fall victim that injured their arm. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the victim. EMS stabilized the patient and transported them to Community Medical Center for further treatment.

Suspicious Vehicle- While on patrol Officers located a suspicious vehicle parked in a municipal lot after house in the area of 14th and Bayview Ave. Officers made contact with the occupants who were found to be having consensual sexual relations in their motor vehicle. The subjects were advised to get dressed and were advised of the violation and were both issued borough summonses for the infraction.

 

 

 

Alarm- Police responded to the area of N St and Lake Ave for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the residence; upon arrival the audible alarm was sounding. The perimeter was checked and no signs for forced entry were observed. All doors and windows were found to be secure. It was determined that the alarm was set off in error.

 

 

Disturbance- Police were dispatched to the area of Porter and Central Avenue for a report of two males arguing. Police arrived and located the individuals who were engaged in the verbal dispute. Officers separated both males and were able to mediate the situation. They were advised to go their separate ways for the remainder of the night.

Community Policing- While on patrol in the area of Stockton and the Boulevard Officers observed a vehicle with one of its doors open with no one around. The vehicle was checked, and no signs of forced entry were observed, and nothing appeared to be disturbed. Officers were able to locate the owner who confirmed nothing was missing and they were able to secure their vehicle.

Disturbance- Police were dispatched to the aera of Stockton and Ocean Avenue for a report of two males in hooded sweatshirts who ran onto the property of the condominiums and were causing a disturbance and had allegedly attempted to gain entry into one of the rooms. The suspects ran onto the Stockton Avenue side of the property then fled in a vehicle. Officers responded and checked the area and were not able to locate the subjects. Police gathered information needed to generate a report. Video surveillance will be checked for more information. This matter is under investigation.
