Alarm- Police responded to a burglar alarm activation in the area of 11th and Ocean. Officers arrived and checked the perimeter and did not observe any signs of forced entry. After further investigation it was determined the alarm was set off in error.
First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to a call for a patient who was experiencing respiratory distress. Police and EMS arrived at the scene and assessed the patient. They were later transported to Community Medical Center for further treatment.
Lewdness- Police were dispatched to the area of Stockton and the Boardwalk for a report of a male exposing himself to women on the boardwalk. The caller advised police a heavy-set white male had his pants down with his buttocks and genitals exposed while females went by. The caller stated the male fled south on Ocean Avenue in a small silver SUV. Officers checked the area and could not located the subject or vehicle. The information was gathered from the caller to generate a report. The area is being checked for cameras that could have caught the incident. This matter is still under investigation.
Arrest- Police responded to the area of Decatur and Central Avenue for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and located the individuals involved. A male and female had gotten into a verbal altercation that escalated and turned physical. After investigating the situation, it was determined that an assault had occurred. The female subject was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters where she was processed and charged with simple assault.

Careless Driving- Police were called to the area of 2nd and Bayview Avenue for a report of vehicles doing donuts in the parking lot of the yacht club. Police responded and were able to locate the vehicles and both drivers were issued summons for careless driving.

Dispute- Police responded to the area of I St. and Central Avenue for a landlord tenant dispute. Officers arrived and spoke to the individuals involved and gathered information needed to generate a report. Subjects were advised how to proceed with signing complaints or contacting landlord tenant court to rectify their issues.

Arrest- While investigating a parking complaint in the area of Lafayette and Ocean Avenue it was determined that the registered owner of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of our jurisdiction. The subject was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters. He was later released and given a new court date.
Pole Fire- Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to the area of Decatur and Bayview for an active fire on a power line connecting to the home. Officers arrived and ensured all occupants were safely out of the residence. The fire company arrived and ensured the power was off inside the residence. The power company was notified and responded to fix the problem.
