Criminal Mischief- Police were dispatched to the area of 14th and Bayview Avenue for a report of criminal mischief. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller who pointed out that a glass alcohol bottle was broken over the victim’s vehicle leaving broken glass pieces behind. The area was checked for any cameras that may have caught the incident. Information was taken to generate a report and photos were taken of the scene.

 

 

 

First Aid- Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad responded to a subject who was experiencing trouble breathing. Police and EMS arrived and assessed the subject at the scene. They were transported to Community Medical Center by Tri-Boro for further treatment.

Disturbance- Police responded to the area of K St. and Central for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and located two intoxicated females that were involved in a verbal altercation. Officers separated both parties and investigated the situation. Police were able to mediate the situation. Police had individuals involved separate for the remainder of the night and one of the females was given a safe ride. No further police action required.

 

 

Community Policing- Police responded to the area of L St. and Central Avenue for a caller reporting they were trapped in their residence from the strong winds damaging their storm door. Police arrived and assessed the situation. It was observed that the strong winds had damaged the storm door of the residence leaving it inoperable. Police were able to rectify the situation and made it safe for the homeowner to get in and out until it could be repaired.

Alarm- Police were dispatched to the area of 7th and Ocean Avenue for a burglar alarm activation. Officers arrived and checked the exterior of the residence. No signs of forced entry were observed, and the house was deemed to be secure. The alarm was set off in error.

 

Open Door- While on patrol in the area of 7th Avenue Officers observed an unsecured window and door to a residence. Police checked the perimeter and observed no signs of forced entry. They also checked the interior and ensured no unauthorized individuals were inside and it appeared that nothing was disturbed. The homeowner was advised of our findings.

Theft- Police responded to the area of N St. and Ocean for a report of a theft. The caller stated a package that was reported to have been confirmed delivered to their residence was missing. The caller received confirmation that the item was delivered to their mailbox but was not there when they attempted to retrieve it. Police gathered all the information needed to generate a report, and the post office was also notified of the situation.

 

 

Arrest- Police were dispatched to the area of Stockton and the Boulevard for a verbal argument between household members. Officers arrived and separated both parties and began to investigate what had transpired. After further investigation and gathering evidence, it was determined that one of the males involved had threatened the other male and the actor was placed under arrest. He was charged with terroristic threats.
